Women are more likely than men to be affected by antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. Some estimates say that 75% to 90% of affected women. For example, it was by some doctors, one third of all young beats estimates (such as under 50) are defined in antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. In obstetrics, it is of some physicians, that up to 25% of all women with 2 or more spontaneous miscarriages Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome appreciated. It is also believed by some doctors that 1 in 5 are of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) and, worse still are caused by amputation of the antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. And it is estimated that 10-15% of lupus patients have antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.
I have it. It sucks, but not the end of the world. Even if it is controlled (eg, aspirin, or in some cases) to thin the blood is nothing to fear. Just keep making up tests, you are well. The only really big problem with antiphospholipid syndrome is that if you are a woman who has more chances of a miscarriage, so you need to take anticoagulants during pregnancy.
